GNS is an unlisted public company owned by newsagents and run for the benefit of newsagents and stationery resellers. We have been servicing customers in New South Wales since 1964, expanding to Queensland since 1992, Victoria since 1995, Tasmania since 2003 and Western Australia since 2007.
GNS creates business efficiencies and cost reduction for stationery retailers, resellers and suppliers by combining superior supply-chain solutions with a national warehouse network.
The major objective of GNS is to enable our customers (newsagents and other stationery retailers and commercial resellers) to buy stationery and office products at competitive prices, to allow them to compete with larger retail chains. We leverage our national warehouse network (located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth & Sydney) and drop-ship service to provide the fastest average delivery times to you, or your customers, across Australia. We can also provide our customers with a free eCommerce website to sell online, subject to eligibility.
We work in partnership with our suppliers, acting as a catalyst to improve and increase the flow of products to retailers, resellers and end-users. With their help, we produce professionally-designed brochures and television advertising for our three high-profile stationery events; Christmas, Back to School and Financial Year stationery promotions. We strive to maintain low costs to participate in these events, and utilise our services, to ensure all customers have the opportunity to promote their business and be competitive in the marketplace.
